Facing against Intolerance, Racism, Xenophobia and anti-Semitism

We have to respect humans as well as respect human rights, and eliminate intolerance, racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism, and misogyny. We have to prevent human rights violations and harassments from gaze, abuse, agression, hate speech, assault to murder. Alarmed by the development of aggressive nationalism, ethnocentrism, and fundamentalism it is important to promote respect, and understanding. This can be done by education or promoting better education as the requirement for equal treatment as well as respect, and protection of human dignity in all areas of our life. When we look around, violence is in the meantime next to us all. We have to prohibit discrimination based on any grounds, including sex, gender, color, religion, ethnic, disability, age, social origin, language or belief. Education is an important part for (or to learn) acceptance and tolerance as well as awareness-raising. Also the role of the mass media as image makers are very important to prevent intolerance, racism, xenophobia, anti-semitism, and misogyny. In my photograph I play with gender roles, and show different races. A tattoo with the world חַי (Chaj, life) stands for fighting against anti-semitism, because we have to learn from the history with the Shoa. We must combat all forms of intolerance and discrimination, for a better world, a better human contact, and human being.
